An Address given at the St-Gallen Symposium on Mai 2nd, 2013

Yesterday night, during the dinner, the German foreign minister, Guido Westervelle, said something very important.

He said that « all the countries do not have values based on Enlightenment ».

If you do not mind, I will change only one word. Probably he should have said that all governements, or all political systems, do not have the same values.

Because there are a lot of populations which are never asked which values they have. Their governements never organize elections to ask questions.
